This one (1) hour course explains the importance of keeping the individual with developmental disabilities safe in all environments. The course discusses the definition of Health, Safety, and Welfare and addresses choice versus health and safety. This course also addresses emergency situation responses, contact information for agencies, Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs, when to contact the SSA regarding situations or events, and provides sample scenarios.
