This one (1) hour course includes basic information for people starting a career in the field of developmental disabilities. The course provides a history of developmental disabilities, description of developmental disabilities, some types of developmental disabilities with common factors, eligibility to county board services, challenging behaviors, principles of self-determination, and a glossary at the end.
