When do you talk about an individual receiving services and when you are not allowed to discuss the individual? A major part of working in the DD field is Confidentiality. This 3 hour course covers the definition and importance of confidentiality, best practices, basic principles of confidentiality, respect for relationships, respect between the individual and agencies, how to document and maintain confidentiality of records, and dilemmas of confidentiality.
