This one (1) hour class was designed for new County Board of Developmental Disabilities Board Members but you do not have to be a County Board of DD Board member to learn how the County Board of Developmental Disabilities operates and their requirements. The following is a list of topics that are included in this training: composition of a county board, qualifications of board members, ineligibility of board members, appointment & reappointment, declaration & oath, removal of a board member, compensation of a board member, board meetings, board trainings, board committees, and ethics council. This one hour course can be used toward county board members’ required annual training and is approved for CEUs for county board staff.
